The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) issued Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 17-2021 extending the availment period of Estate Tax Amnesty until June 14, 2023 only with certain amendments and clarifications on the process of availment of estate tax amnesty. Tax payers must submit their duly accomplished Estate Tax Amnesty Return (ETAR) and Acceptance Payment Form (APF) with proof of payment to the BIR Regional District Office (RDO) on or before June 14, 2023. The tax amnesty on estate tax is pursunt to Republic Act No. 11569, amending RA No. 11213.
